Olivia is currently working towards her Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in cello performance; continuing her studies with David Cohen at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she has gained a Scholarship. Previous to this Olivia graduated with distinction for her Masters degree in cello performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance; where she was awarded a Trinity College scholarship, Pauline Holden Scholarship and a South Square Scholarship.
Whilst at Trinity, Olivia has participated in many masterclasses with renowned cellists, including Raphael Wallfisch, Martin Lohr, Leonid Gorokhov, Lionel Handy, Daniel Vies, Leonard Elchenbroich, Alexander Ivashkin, Sally Pendlebury, Alexander Baillie and Gemma Rosefield.
Olivia has been awarded the Friends in New York of TCM London Award/Edgar TP Comley Certificate of Excellence for 2017 and the Barbirolli Memorial Award for solo cello two years running in 2015 and 2016.
Olivia currently has a place on the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Mentor Scheme and will be performing with the Britten Pears Orchestra, conducted by Marin Alsop, the summer. She performs regularly with a variety of London orchestras; performing in a number of prestigious venues including Cadogan hall, St Johns Smith Square, St Paul's Cathedral and Snape Maltings.
