Erin started playing the violin at the age of four with Jean-Ann Callender and by twelve, she had performed on TV and Radio, and in the Scottish and British Parliaments on many occasions. She has won over 200 Scottish competitions and also competed in the 2002 Glenfiddich Championships at the age of fourteen.
She has toured all over the UK, Europe and Mauritius with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland, which she led on their tours of th UK and Ireland and has twice won the Daughter of Dewar Award.
Erin graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London in 2011, where where she studied with the late Howard Davis and Diana Cummings, with whom she continued her studies whilst completing her Masters Degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2013. She obtained her teaching Diploma while at the Royal Academy of Music and has worked with top conductors including Sir Mark Elder, Sir Simon Rattle and the late Vermon Handley.
Erin has recently released her debut CD of Scottish fiddle music, "The Lass O' Bon Accord".
